Moorland mittens/ fingerless mitts are knitted from the cuff up on circular needles using magic loop method, however, you can use DPNs if you are more comfortable with them. The finished measurements of the mittens are approximately 9 cm / 3.5 inches width in the palm, 27 cm/ 10.75 inches total length together with the cuff for full size mittens and 20 cm/ 8 inches for fingerless. These mittens will fit an average woman’s hand of 17 - 20 cm / 6.75 - 8 inches in diameter.
